This shape of pistachio is called as Kalleh Ghuchi, which is Jumbo type. The most common character to identify this type is the shape of this pistachio is rather fat and (in comparing with round) is rather long, and this is why called as Jumbo. This type is bigger than the others. The name is derived from the shape of this type which look likes ram’s head. The unique taste of this pistachio is due to its high fat volume.

Jumbo Pistachio (Kalleh Ghuchi): This kind is thick and broad with natural opened mouth.

Available in sizes 18-20, 20-22, 22-24, 24-26    

Specifications: The normal sorted Kalleh Ghuchi pistachio, grade 20-22 pcs/oz has Max 5% moisture, Max 2% C/M, Max 2.5% semi-open.

Packing: The regular packing is 50 kg gunnies or jute bags, and particular packing is 25 kg gunnies. 10 and 12 kg cartons are also available based on the customer order.
